Why does solder paste need to warm up

Time:2021-05-18 Views:249
Alpha solder paste must be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 0-10 ℃ to ensure stability
Due to the temperature difference between the solder paste itself and the production environment when it is first taken out of the refrigerator, if it is not reheated and used, the moisture in the air will accumulate in the solder paste, causing it to vaporize rapidly due to strong heat during reflow, resulting in tin explosion and solder beads on the surface of the welded board
The correct way to warm up Alpha solder paste: Without opening the solder paste bottle cap, take out the solder paste from the refrigerator and let it thaw naturally at room temperature for a maximum of 4 hours. Before use, the temperature of the solder paste itself should be above 19 ℃, and heating should not be used to shorten the warming time
Alpha solder paste can be manually stirred before use, and it is best not to use machine stirring, as this will cause the flux inside to evaporate completely, which will affect the soldering effect
